Anne Neal makes the point that the Solomon tiff was an examplar of the great divide between rebel-for-rebellion’s sake academics and the rest of us, and quoted one Harvard professor’s hilarious accusation that Harvard students are too “eager to prosper.” The quote that, for me, cemented the divide, was printed several weeks ago.
