War on For-Profits 2.0

Neal McCluskey of Cato points out that the Government Accountability Office (GAO) has revised its report condemning for-profit schools for unethical recruitment practices. That GAO report was a key component of the hostile Senate hearings held last August by Sen. Tom Harkin (D., Iowa), but some of it wasn’t quite accurate. The schools don’t look nearly as bad in the revised version.
