Mal Kline of Accuracy in Academia writes here about Ward
Connerly’s keynote speech at the Pope Center’s recent conference on
diversity.
I was told that, following the conclusion of Connerly’s speech, a group of
“diversity” officers from UNC schools who had clustered at a table declined
to join in the applause for him. If colleges and universities ever get over
the silly mania for “diversity” and go back to just doing the best they can
to educate students, those people would have to find something useful to do,
but why be rude now?
