Perhaps Anne spoke too soon when she said that the University of Wisconsin has “weathered” the storm over its hiring of 9/11 conspiracy theorist Kevin Barrett. According to the AP, the legislator who originally called for Barrett’s firing has given the controversy a new lease on life by getting 60 others to sign a letter agreeing with him. This is, of course, all the more reason to again point to ACTA’s much better solution to the problem of instructors like Barrett. See here and here.
