Would Romney Make Higher Ed Any Better?

That is my subject in this week’s Pope Center Clarion Call. Romney’s campaign has issued a white paper on education (K–12 and higher), and the higher-education reforms are pretty weak — merely tinkering around the edges of the Rube Goldberg contraption that federal meddling in higher education is.
