Planet Gore

Americans Coming to Their Senses

Gallup’s annual survey on environmental issues is out, and it reports that for the first time in 25 years, a majority of Americans think economic growth should take precedence over environmental protection. This view has been steadily rising for the last decade, but this is the first year the economy broke out on top.

Just a few weeks ago, Gallup reported a separate poll showing a rising number of Americans think global warming is exaggerated. With all the millions that have been spend, it is increasingly clear that Al Gore and his friends are trying to sell the climate equivalent of an Edsel.

Expect the climate-alarm volume knob to be turned up to 11.
