I don’t quite know where to begin to react to RFK Jr.’s decarbonization manifesto in Vanity Fair.
On cap-and-trade, RFK writes, “This market-based approach has a proven track record.”
I’m sorry, what? Missed that memo, as the carbon C&T that is the Kyoto Protocol is an abject failure.
Where, exactly, is this proven track record? [Whenever you hear “market-based,” odds are we’re talking about intrusive government regulation sailing under a free-market flag.]
Finally, you’ve gotta love the part about the virtues of wind power in the Midwest (just as long as its not off the coast of Hyannisport, right, Robert?).
