“China Huaneng Group, the nation’s biggest power generator, targets a capacity to produce about 35 percent of its electricity from clean energy by 2020 as the country seeks to cut pollution, President Cao Peixi said.”

What Al Gore didn’t excerpt, however:

The company plans to complete the construction of the country’s first power plant that converts coal into cleaner-burning gas before the end of next year, Cao said.

Odd. Does this mean Al Gore has switched his stance on clean coal and it’s no longer like a “healthy cigarette?”
