Live Earth is fast approaching, but its prospects are not good, it seems. If you want a ticket, there are plenty available. The Rio concert looked to have followed Istanbul into cancellation, but has now been reinstated, but with the Australian concert just a few hours away, even its promoter is advertising that there are still plenty of tickets unsold. Given the, ahem, political climate over there, I’d imagine the London show will be moderately successful, but as a global event, it looks, dare I say it, overhyped.
