A Global Warming Primer: A Graph is worth 1,000 words

Pictures often tell stories in a far more compelling and succinct fashion than words. With this in mind, the NCPA released a booklet A Global Warming Primer that examines some of the main scientific, economic and political issues involved in the topic of global warming. The Primer attempts to avoid entering “the debate” over whether its warming, whether humans are causing it and whether the end of the earth is near, but rather lets the reader draw his or her own conclusion after examing some salient facts about climate physics, history, the current state of the environment and the relative effectiveness of proposed solutions. Our hope is that it informs and adds to the discussion.
