I Can Agree With This “Consensus”

Joe D’Aleo of www.ICECAP.us passes along this little gem that, while accurate in spirit, didn’t foresee the abuses to which the term would be put (for example, “everyone” in the the modern climate context simply means everyone the alarmists say should be allowed in the room):

The Israeli statesman, diplomat, and scholar Abba Eban (born 1915) served as Israel’s United Nations representative and ambassador to the United States until 1959. He was Israel’s foreign minister between 1966 and 1974.

“A consensus means that everyone agrees to say collectively what no one believes individually.”
