I Left My Heart . . .

A resounding three out of five San Francisco voters said No to that city’s renewable energy mandate. Must have been all that vocal support from duck-and-cover Nancy Pelosi.
I wonder what the vote would have looked like if, days before the vote, Barack Obama’s comments about skyrocketing electricity rates being necessary for green energy to become competitive had not been made public. Nice timing there, eh?
[Legalized prostitution didn’t have enough customers, either.]

[UPDATE: The post-Election Day fog has lifted, and this item has been adjusted to reflect the voting tally for San Fran’s Prop H, rather than California’s Prop 7.
Noel Sheppard at NewsBusters notes the failures of both Prop 7 and Prop 10, and wonders if the national media will cover the story.]
