This past Sunday, the Twin Cities Star-Tribune reprinted Bjørn Lomborg’s recent WaPo piece that Planet Gore excerpted here. That wouldn’t be worth mentioning, normally — but check out the savvy headline the Star-Trib put on the piece: “Bjorn Lomborg: It would be best to invent a way out of warming.”
You’ll see a range of opinion on Planet Gore about whether CO2 is warming the planet, and whether we should care. But we’re unanimous (as far as I can tell) on the fact that, if there is a problem, we won’t find a solution by hamstringing the U.S. economy – by punishing the entrepreneurial impulse, and thus stifling technological innovation.
