RJ Smith, the doyen of free market environmentalism, has a post up at Openmarket about the tortured reasoning of bureaucrats in the Fish and Wildlife Service. The bottom line is that the Fish and Wildlife Service wants to preserve the native mosquito, but not the non-native, and in its wisdom has decided not to control mosquitoes at all. All because of a silly debate over native and non-native species.
