Back on Monday morning, John McCain had this to say over Twitter about the Obama Energy Tax:
Nearly 1000 page Climate Change legislation — appears to be a cap & tax bill that I won’t support.
Yesterday, the Huffington Post bizarrely called it a “a reversal of the position he took on the Senate floor in March” — as if McCain’s previously articulated support for cap-and-trade was for this particular bill, larded with page after page of vote-buying pork (excuse me, “protections”). I’m surprised HuffPo didn’t blame Sarah Palin for the reversal.
