Here’s the president using the B.P. disaster to sell his alternative-energy dream:

The devil is in the details. I’m all for solar, but will the president challenge the likes of Diane Feinstein who’s blocking solar in the California desert? Or the Audubon Society when they take on the wind industry? Or enviros of all stripes when a new nuclear plant is considered? It’s not our side that’s blocking the permitting of such projects.
