KTLA in Los Angeles reports:
“Planet of the Apes” actress Estella Warren was in custody Tuesday after allegedly being busted for DUI, kicking an officer and then escaping police custody. Warren was reportedly driving drunk when she slammed her Toyota Prius into three parked cars and drove off in the Hollywood area, RadarOnline is reporting.
The actress allegedly failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody around 11:30 p.m. — but not without a struggle. Warren kicked an officer while resisting arrest, Radar reports, adding that she later slinked out of her handcuffs while in custody and escaped through a back door. She was eventually recaptured. The actress reportedly faces charges of DUI, assault, hit and run and felony escape.
But she’s saving the planet with her hybrid!
I like the escape part. Too bad there wasn’t a high-speed pursuit with the cops chasing down her Prius. That I’d love to watch.
