Just to follow up on this post from yesterday, at one point Gore claims in the video:
The North Polar ice cap is melting before our very eyes. It’s been the size of the continental United States for most of the last three million years and now suddenly 40% of it is gone and the rest of it is expected to disappear within five,10,15 years.
This is typical Al Gore. Who knows where this statistic comes from, but is it any surprise that the polar ice cap used to be bigger, especially considering the last ice age, 20,000 years ago or so, covered half of North America with glaciers?
