Over on The Corner, David Freddoso notes that the Times yesterday ackowledged that plant-based fuels aren’t all they’re cracked up to be, emissions-wise.
If this trend continues, the only way to persuade people to support government intervention in favor of plant-based fuels will be to make the national-security argument.
One thing I’m sure of: accusing people who are skeptical about pro-ethanol mandates of being unpatriotic — or in OPEC’s pocket — is not terribly effective. It will require a logical argument.
