At some point, being a Raiders fan has to become intolerable, right?
Rather than enjoy one of my favorite sports days of the year — the NFL Draft — I get to watch this year’s festivities knowing the Raiders already made their first round pick last year, via a trade with Cincinnati, for QB Carson Palmer. It’s as if Palmer has been drafted in the first round twice.
We’ll see if Palmer does much for the Raiders this year, but I doubt it. Double the first round pick, double the bust.
Oh, and it gets better for the Raider Nation: as it stands now, the Raiders don’t have a pick until the third round.
