Walk-Off HRs Don’t Get Much Better Than This

The oldest dude to hit a walk-off home run just did it again.

Forty-two-year-old Jason Giambi blasted a 1–1 offering from White Sox reliever Addison Reed deep into Progressive Field’s right-field stands, enabling the Indians to turn a potentially heartbreaking one-run loss into a 4–3 triumph. Consequently, Cleveland remains 1.5 games ahead of the Rangers for the AL’s second wild-card berth.

With his walk-off dinger back on July 29, also against the South Siders, Giambi snatched from Hank Aaron the distinction of being the oldest MLBer to hit a walk-off home run.
