Which sounds better: Eau de South Bronx or Eau de Toilet? New York Post:
Get a whiff of the sweet smell of success.
The 27-time World Champion Yankees are set to become the first pro sports team to unleash their own fragrances, according to reports.
The scents by the Cloudbreak Group will come in versions for men and women and hit the shelves of Macy’s and, obviously, Yankees Stadium in April.
Jason Latimer, the Yankees’ assistant director of media and player relations, boasted about the new fragrance to Women’s Wear Daily, saying the club considers “ourselves a top global brand and we pride ourselves on class and elegance.”
Don’t expect the fragrance to smell like a ball park with hints of hot dogs, beer or ball players.
Instead, the men’s scent is “sporty” and “woody,” featuring touches of sandalwood and ivy, WWD reported.
