N.C. Aizenman and Karen Tumulty on Medicaid Expansion

I neglected to link to an informative article by N.C. Aizenman and Karen Tumulty of the Washington Post on how a number of governors of both parties have reacted cautiously towards the Medicaid expansion that is a central part of the president’s health law. The central concern of these governors is over whether or not the federal government will gives states some degree of flexibility regarding eligibility standards in future years, particularly in the event of a revenue shortfall.

Avik Roy has more on why state governments are gun-shy about Medicaid expansion.
