Tales from an Integrated Medical Provider

I am a great believer in integrated medical providers — firms that act as insurers and medical providers, with salaried physicians and other staffers offering coordinated care under one roof. But in the spirit of giving you an alternative view, consider this comment that Laura Fisher left on Tsinghua University psychologist Seth Roberts excellent blog. I can’t speak to the veracity of Fisher’s claims, but if she’s even half right I think the administration at Intermountain Healthcare has serious work to do.
