The Campaign Spot

After Declaring ‘We’re Not Campaigning Anymore,’ Obama Announces New Campaign

Last week: President Obama, seeming to be reaching the end of his rope with Sen. John McCain: “Let me just make this point, John, because we’re not campaigning anymore. The election’s over.”

This week: “The White House announced that Obama would travel to Philadelphia Monday and St. Louis on Wednesday to stump for reform – his most hands-on pitch for health care since last summer, when Obama was doing events daily to make the case for his plan.”

We’re not campaigning anymore; that’s why I’m traveling around the country holding rallies.
