The Campaign Spot

Afternoon Roundup: Biden’s Sudan Invasion, Edwards’ Expensive Speeches, and Michelle Obama’s Timing

Biden said, again, that he wants U.S. troops in Darfur.

John Edwards charged student groups $55,000 to speak to them about poverty. Between this, the house, the haircuts, and the enormous payday for part-time work at a hedge fund… at some point, you figure this kinda stuff starts sticking on Edwards.
Michelle Obama: “And I think that if Barack does what he’s supposed to do and this campaign is… run well, and he can be clear and articulate in his message… he’ll be the next president of the United States and… we will be swearing him in ‘08.”
As Hillary Spot reader William pointed out, Obama wouldn’t be sworn in until January 20, 2009.
On a related note, is she worrying whether he’s “articulate” enough?
