Alex X. Mooney, Will You Please Run Now Then?

File this one away for future reference: The new chairman of the Maryland Republican party, Alex Mooney, is mentioned as a possible candidate for Congress after long-serving Rep. Roscoe G. Bartlett (R., Md.) retires. Bartlett is 84, the second-oldest member of the House.

Mooney will soon depart the state senate.
