I’ve seen the Tweets, and now there’s this terse AP story, mentioning a few numbers in their latest poll. Now 52 percent of respondents disapprove of Obama on health care, and they mention Obama’s overall disapproval is 49 percent.
So, guys, what’s his approval rating? We know it’s 51 percent or less; if it’s below 49 percent, that’s a real story. And how about his approval rating on health care? How far below 48 percent is it?
I feel like I’m watching a teaser trailer for a poll result.
UPDATE: And now we know. Obama’s overall approval is at 50 percent. The last AP poll in July had it 55/42; now he’s at 50/49.
On health care, Obama’s approval/disapproval split is now 42/52; in midsummer it was 50/43.
Oh, and on the economy, Obama slipped from 50/46 to 44/52.
