That New Republic story allegedly written by a U.S. soldier witnessing all manner of American-perpetuated cruelty is stirring quite a bit of attention and skepticism from the blogosphere – check out The Tank and Steven Spruiell. If you’ve served in Iraq – in uniform, in civilian capacity, as a contractor – and you can either verify or refute the allegations in that story… or if aspects of the story ring true or smell fishy to you, we would like to hear from you.
I’m rather surprised that of the 12 comments currently below the New Republic’s story, all of them are various expressions of skepticism…
