A Blowout Coming in Virginia?

I don’t know whether liberal blogger Not Larry Sabato is trying to wake up complacent Democrats, or whether he’s hearing this as a near-foregone conclusion and thinks the assessment is accurate. Either way, he’s got an eye-opening post up now, declaring:

The analogy to the Democrats’ current situation in the House of Delegates is a hospital ward. The Democratic Caucus is trying to decide now who gets left in the hallway to die and who they will try to save.

(his emphasis) Of course, he puts the GOP gains at anywhere from one to eleven seats, which is a pretty big range.

UPDATE: Campaign Spot reader Dave observes how perfect it is that the analogy chosen to describe the Democratic prospects in the Virginia state house elections is health care rationing.
