Could Sam Brownback endorse Rudy Giuliani? ABC News gets a Brownback adviser to say maybe, but NBC News gets the candidate to downplay that possibility.
I suspect that if Brownback were to endorse Giuliani (and try to somehow downplay the New York City mayor’s pro-choice views) a lot of his supporters, who were attracted to the Kansas Senator because of his proud and unapologetic pro-life stand, would be surprised, disgruntled, and wondering what their previous favorite had been thinking.
Brownback roughed up Romney during the campaign, but I have an easier time picturing Brownback endorsing Romney than Giuliani.
