The Campaign Spot

Busy Night on Campaign Spot; Democratic Debate Thrills Start at 9 Eastern

I’ll be on Hugh Hewitt’s program, around 6:40 p.m. Eastern.

Also, I’ll be liveblogging tonight’s Democratic debate. Probably not the line-by-line usual, just the SportsCenter version, scores and highlights. It starts at 9 p.m. Eastern.
UPDATE: Hugh wanted to pin me down on who the GOP nominee will be. I stuck to my Not Rudy beating Rudy theory, but that I wasn’t sure who the Not Rudy was going to be yet – most likely either Romney or Thompson. Pressed for one name, I said Thompson. Maybe I’ll change it every week.
I concur with Mary Katherine Ham’s assessment of watching these Democratic debates: “We were drinking every time they mentioned a tax hike, but we quit that game after it sent Ace to the hospital with alcohol poisoning before the first commercial break.”
Maybe the big surprise tonight will be Mike Gravel, who was not invited by MSNBC, getting past security and rushing the stage.
