Charlie Crist, Florida’s Political Steamroller

From Quinnipiac this morning:

Florida voters, by a 41 – 22 percent margin, prefer Charlie Crist run for re-election as Governor, rather than the U.S. Senate, but his 67 – 22 percent job approval rating and strong positive image makes him a heavy early favorite for either office, according to a Quinnipiac University Poll released today.

Crist, who has said he will make a decision about which office he will seek in 2010 after the state legislative session ends this May, remains popular across party lines, as even Democrats approve 66 – 22 percent of the job he is doing.
