The absolute best news for Chris Dodd lately is that I wrote on December 23:

Due to Peyton Manning getting involuntarily benched to avoid injuries, losses by a bunch of other teams, the alignment of the stars, and the whims of the Football Gods, the New York Jets control their own destiny and can make the playoffs by winning Sunday night.
I guess those who prefer a non-Dodd option need the eventual GOP rival campaign, be it Rob Simmons, Linda McMahon, Peter Schiff, or whomever, to not bench their starting lineup early.
