Wow, not too much doubt which way the national political winds are blowing in Virginia:
“I’m not sure I’d know either one of them if I saw them, except I’ve seen them on television,” [Democratic gubernatorial candidate Creigh] Deeds said of Pelosi and Reid. “I’m sure they wouldn’t know me.”
Deeds’s ads don’t feature Obama, and they don’t feature current Democratic governor Tim Kaine, and he’s insisting he’s never met Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi and they don’t know him.
Meanwhile, Bob McDonnell’s thesis isn’t mentioned until the tenth paragraph of the Post’s story today, which I’m starting to find not that bad. Then again, I might be practicing the soft bigotry of low expectations.
