Florida attorney general Bill McCollum is running for governor.
McCollum won by 52.7 percent to 47.3 percent in 2006, half a percentage point better than Charlie Crist, in a pretty lousy year for Republicans nationwide. When he retired from the House of Representatives in 2000, he had a lifetime ACU rating of 89.
