Pres. Barack Obama e-mailed me, through Organizing for America, to let me know what’s best for me as a Virginia resident. Among his comments:
“Creigh Deeds has embraced the movement you started by speaking directly and honestly to Virginians about the challenges ahead and the ideas that will move us forward.”
“Speaking directly”?
That’s a not-so-subtle in-joke about Deeds’s inability to give a straight answer to a question, right?
And:
This is meant ironically, like the “nobody messes with Joe” line, right?
