Sometime around 9:30, I’m scheduled to appear on MSNBC with Chuck Todd on the Daily Rundown. But I notice the producers booked me Friday afternoon . . . and that very evening, Keith Olbermann hosted his last show. Coincidence? Or was my impending presence enough to drive him out?
On a related note, I’d like to thank my son for getting me up at 5 a.m. “Joining us now, bloodshot and incomprehensible, is Jim Geraghty of National Review . . .” I’m scheduled to talk about early buzz about Republican contenders of 2012, presuming I’m capable of putting sentences together at all . . .
