An RNC source has just shared their February fundraising numbers. Considering the ominous reports from earlier in the day, they’re not that bad.
$5.1 million raised — about same as January. January was $5 million raised with $7 million transferred.
$2 million reduction in expenses — a 40 percent reduction.
$24 million cash on hand up $1 million from January.
No debt.
All things considered, a new chairman, a short month, and a terrible economic environment, it could have been much worse. However, we don’t know how the DNC did last month.
