Fundraising, Spending About Even in NY-20 Special Election

The first (and probably only) fundraising disclosure reports are out in the NY-20 special election for Congress, and Democrat Scott Murphy has a slim fundraising lead over Republican Jim Tedisco, the Albany Times-Union reports. But the Republican has a bit more cash remaining for the final stretch.

Meanwhile, Fred Thompson is lending a hand to the $40K for NY20 drive.
