Gowdy to be Special Guest, Discuss Benghazi at Virginia GOP Fundraiser

Representative Trey Gowdy R., S.C.) is back in the spotlight as the chairman of the House committee investigating the 2012 Benghazi attack, as there is new intense scrutiny about Hillary Clinton’s e-mails during her time at the State Department. Sunday morning he told CBS News that there are “gaps of months and months and months” in the e-mails that former secretary of state Hillary Clinton has handed over to the committee so far.

Gowdy is scheduled to be the featured guest at a fundraising event March 19 for the Republican party of Virginia, entitled “Beyond Benghazi,” featuring a screening and an interview of Gowdy, moderated by Representative Morgan Griffith. The RPV is charging $75 but for $5,000, a donor can be a co-chair.
