There is a Twitter feed entitled “Draft Mike Ditka.” I presume they mean for Obama’s Senate seat, not to replace Lovie Smith.
Tempting as the concept is, it’s easy to imagine a variation of the “Celebrity” ad being thrown at it. And a Senate that has room for Mike Ditka probably has room for Caroline Kennedy, too. (And Chris Matthews, and John Elway, and Jerry Springer, and . . .)
