Wow. New Hampshire congressman Paul Hodes, a Democrat, got into the populist drum-beating earlier this year, declaring, “AIG now stands for Arrogance, Incompetence, and Greed.” Of course, he voted for the stimulus, which means he voted for the provision that guaranteed those now-notorious bonuses.
Fred Tausch, a frustrated former Obama supporter in New Hampshire with deep pockets, has decided to make Hodes’s political career more difficult with a hard-hitting mailer on the subject. Hodes is thinking of running for Senate in 2010.
