He wasn’t mentioned as a potential Pelosi Suicide Squad member, but for some reason, I figured John Adler, New Jersey Democrat, would be one of the most likely House votes to flip from “no” to “yes.” Probably because he’s the lone New Jersey Democrat to vote “no.”
That may not be in the cards, however. From his comments on Fox News Sunday this morning, he sounds pretty darn skeptical: “If the House and the Senate can’t work out cost containment, I don’t see how I support a bill that doesn’t help our business community and create more jobs.”
Of course, Adler is also running for reelection against a 330-pound, former Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle.
