Team Hillary has seemed awfully quiet about Jeremiah Wright. Two possible reasons why.
One is Wright’s visit to Bill Clinton’s White House in 1998. The photo of Wright and the president shaking hands and smiling? This would be in September of 1998, right in the middle of the Monica Lewinsky scandal. (Later Wright would tell his congregation, “he did to us what he did to Monica Lewinsky! He was ridin’ dirty!” The pelvic thrusting is what makes the statement so classy.)
The second is that there may be photos of Wright sitting next to Hillary at the same event.
I give you permission to giggle for the next twenty minutes.
