The folks at the NRCC are chuckling at a bit of incongruency in recent news items . . .
In CQ: “Bruce Braley , D-Iowa, said he believes that rather than lying low, Pelosi should travel to competitive districts to counter GOP attacks. Pelosi can boost her party by reaching out to swing voters and emphasizing her role as a grandmother and making the most of her outgoing personality, Braley says.”
And today from Gallup: “According to a May 29-31 Gallup Poll, 37 percent of Americans have a favorable view of Cheney and 34 percent have a favorable view of Pelosi. Both Cheney and Pelosi are viewed unfavorably by at least half of Americans.”
Indeed, Nancy Pelosi is (arguably) less popular than Dick Cheney.
