Earlier today, I made a reference to the Washington Post tracking poll having Obama ahead among independents by a narrow margin, 50 to 46. In today’s edition, it’s 48-48.
Yet Obama’s 9 percent lead remains the same, because in their tracking poll, more Republicans are for Obama than Democrats are for McCain, compared to yesterday.
