An Intriguing, But Probably Not Terribly Meaningful, Poll in New Jersey

Brian Faughnan, now in his new spot at the Washington Times web site TheConservatives.com, points to a poll result suggesting that another Obama visit wouldn’t help New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine and could actually hurt him: 32 percent say an Obama visit would make them less likely to vote for Corzine, while 18 percent said it made them more likely to vote for the embattled governor.

Having said that, I suspect the 32 percent are folks fed up with both Obama and Corzine; 18 percent who are mad at Corzine but who still like Obama, and a good chunk of the remaining 50 percent don’t care what Obama says about Corzine, they’re still dissatisfied with the way the state is being run.
