It is Election Day in California’s 36th congressional district, featuring Democratic Los Angeles city councilwoman Janice Hahn and Republican Craig Huey. Polling hours are from 7 a.m. Pacific to 8 p.m., and polling places can be found here.
Councilwoman Hahn’s mother, Ramona Hahn, passed away yesterday at age 86. Her husband and three of her children served in elected office in Los Angeles or California politics.
This portion of Los Angeles includes Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, and West Carson.
