Juvenile Helps Persuade Tom Friedman of Danger from ‘Right Fringe’

It’s wrong to joke about the president’s assassination, and urging it is reprehensible. But the Facebook poll that spurred Thomas Friedman to compare the current atmosphere in the United States to the one in Israel before Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination was the work of a juvenile, the Secret Service has determined, and no charges will be filed. The Service’s spokesman said, “This is something we classified as a mistake on the juvenile’s part.”

Wolf Blitzer called the column “powerful.”

Sometimes, stuff that looks like the work of a dumb kid who doesn’t know any better turns out to be the work of a dumb kid who doesn’t know any better.
